But You Know What's Coming (2023)
Multidisciplinary Installation
Mixed Media
This installation brings together fragments from everyday life — children’s furniture,  a discarded hairbrush, an old vinyl record and a wooden spoon, familiar and yet unfamiliar in their stark black and white colours.  Their arrangement, upturned, suspended and laying on the floor, reference experiences and shifting roles within families living alongside Alzheimer’s.

Fragments of text, drawn from conversations with family members voice experiences of care, exhaustion, and resilience. The discarded objects on the floor, and the pillar of white table napkins, speak of habitual routines that endure, though memory may not.
